3.2 Data collection Data was collected for this research project from both primary and secondary sources. The primary source used was the data collection method of semi-structured interviews. As this research project is an exploratory study, the use of semi-structured interviews was used to gain insights from experts from TJG on the research question of market entry strategies for PA entering the UK (Saunders, Lewis Thornhill 2016). Secondary sources used included government websites, journal articles, newspapers and retail industry journals.
